“GriefShare” at Greenwood United Methodist Church

“Your Journey from Mourning to Joy”

Always active in the community, Greenwood United Methodist Church has a program you will want to learn more about if you have lost someone close to you, or know someone who has. GriefShare is a weekly seminar/support group designed to help.

Designed for a grief recovery ministry in pastoral care, this program is a network of thousands of grief recovery support groups meeting around the world and yet is intimate with close friends you want to help in the healing that follows the death of a loved one.

The healing process is a spiritual one. People are often open to spiritual solutions for their lives when facing the loss of a loved one. Grieving a death often leads people to an openness for biblical questions and a relationship with the Lord. “GriefShare” with its biblical Christ-centered perspective is an effective tool to help people find or deepen their faith in Christ as they examine soul level questions about death, dying, their own mortality and eternal life.

Pastor Craig Russell says this is the best of these program he has seen in his many years of comforting Christians in times of loss.

See the promotional material below for more details about this new program at GUMC.
