The 2014 Greenwood Junior High School Career Expo provided freshmen students with opportunities to learn first-hand career information from professionals in fields related to their career interests.  Students will use the knowledge gained to make informed career decisions as they set high school and post-secondary education goals during their spring semester.

The 2014 Career Expo was an opportunity for the Class of 2017 to gain important information to connect your education, skills, and career interests to your future Success.

Theme: Connect 4 Success

The Connect 4 Success committee was responsible for organizing this community involvement event and includes FBLA sponsor Crystal Sexton, Business Teacher Janet Staed, Economics Instructor Tammy Brewer and GJHS Principal Cody Chatman. Students discovered career paths available to them by listening to guest speakers of various career interests.

Special Guest Speakers on a wide variety of careers included: Tyler Wilson, Professional Athlete; Jeff Burklow, Pilot; Don Bailey, Professor of Music; Wes Allen, Director of Commodity Sales; Kimberly King, High School Math; Heath Hogeland, High School Art; Justin Newhart, Construction Careers; Roy Cox, Farm/Ranch Careers; Staff Sargeant Joe Konieczny, Military Careers; Ep Fletcher and Myron Means, Wildlife Officer and State Bear Coordinator; Ken Wilson, Civil Engineer; Laura Lynch, Veterinarian; Travis Bartlett, Architect; Dr. Lee Johnson, Physician; Lt.
