Greenwood Graduate BJ Ginger Slated to be Graduation Speaker

Captain BJ Ginger, a 1999 Greenwood High School graduate, will speak to the GHS seniors at the  2014 graduation ceremony on Friday, May 23. Captain Ginger is a pilot with the Arkansas Air National Guard and is currently stationed at Vance Air Force Base in Enid, Oklahoma, where he is a fighter pilot instructor.

While in high school, BJ served in several GHS civic clubs including Beta Club, which he served as President his senior year.  He was a two sport athlete in football and track. He attended the University of Arkansas where he received a Mechanical Engineering degree in 2005.

Captain Ginger is the son of Bill and Sharon Ginger and is married to Captain Sherry Ginger who is also a flight instructor stationed at Vance Air Force Base. Captain Sherry Ginger is currently flying active duty missions in Afghanistan.

The 2014 graduation ceremony will be held at Smith-Robinson Stadium on May 23, 2014, at 7:30 P.M.
