The GHS Varsity Cheer Squad attended a four day NCA Performance Cheer Camp in Springdale last week.  The cheer team brought home top honors in every category.  Awards included 1st Place Champion Chant, 1st Place Top Team Performance, Herkie Award, Spirit Award and 1st Place Top Gun Stunt Award. Vaughn passing the torch, not disappearing

During halftime of the Blue-White football game last week, GHS head coach Rick Jones and his team presented a signed helmet and a plaque to Brian Vaughn, recognizing his 15 years of dedicated service to the Greenwood High School athletic program. Vaughn founded the Greenwood Dog Pound website and has been a tireless promoter of the Bulldogs and Lady Bulldogs since the 1990s. They are coming off a playoff lost to Pine Bluff last November, ending their historic 50-game winning streak that spanned almost four full seasons.
