Greenwood’s Lunden Williams and Harding University Head to Division II National Tournament

Greenwood’s Lundon Williams is a freshman at Harding University in Searcy and a member of the Lady Bison’s basketball team which won the GAC conference. By Richard White Last weekend the GHS wrestling team finished 8th in the state tournament held in Little Rock, but placed second among all 6A wrestling schools in the state, trailing only Searcy. Boy Scouts Food Drive

Boy Scouts of America has always identified the first two weekends in February as its annual food drive. Cub Scout Packs #53, #55, #1989 and Boy Scout Troops #54 and #55 collected donated food from Greenwood neighborhoods.  The total collection weighed 400 lbs., which will be distributed at local food banks to those in need.
